Privacy policy

Effective August 7, 2026

Growtempo writes and publishes LinkedIn posts on your behalf. That takes your trust and some of your data. This page says exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

What we collect

We collect only what the product needs to write and publish LinkedIn posts on your behalf:

  • Account details from LinkedIn sign-in (OpenID Connect): your name, email address, profile photo, and LinkedIn member ID.
  • A LinkedIn access token that lets us publish posts you have approved to your own profile. Tokens expire on LinkedIn's schedule (roughly 60 days) and are stored encrypted at rest.
  • Content you give us: notes and ideas, images you upload, examples of posts you've written, and details about your business that shape what we write.
  • The posts we draft for you, the edits you make to them, and their schedule.
  • Performance numbers you choose to report about your published posts (impressions, reactions, comments).
  • Basic operational records: sign-in events and a signed session cookie that keeps you logged in.

We do not collect browsing history, contacts, or anything from your LinkedIn feed, and we do not scrape LinkedIn.

How we use it

  • To write posts in your voice: your notes, examples, and edits shape the drafts for your account only. They are never used for another customer.
  • To publish approved posts to your LinkedIn profile at the scheduled time, through LinkedIn's official API.
  • To create branded graphics for your posts.
  • To operate the service: signing you in, showing your queue, and telling you when something needs attention.

We never sell your data, and we never use one customer's data to serve another.

Services we rely on

Your data is processed by a short list of infrastructure providers, each doing one job:

  • LinkedIn: sign-in and publishing, under LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy.
  • OpenAI: draft text and graphics come from OpenAI models, so the content needed to write your posts is sent to OpenAI for processing.
  • Canva: designed graphics, if you connect it.
  • Vercel: hosting and image storage.
  • Neon: our database.

We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service, and with no one else unless the law requires it.

LinkedIn data, specifically

Everything we access from LinkedIn comes through LinkedIn's official APIs with your explicit consent at sign-in, and is handled under the LinkedIn API Terms of Use. We only ever publish content you or your account manager have approved. If we access engagement analytics about your posts from LinkedIn in the future, raw social-activity data will be retained for no more than 48 hours, in line with LinkedIn's platform rules. Disconnecting LinkedIn (or letting your token expire) stops all publishing immediately.

Cookies

We use one signed session cookie to keep you logged in. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking scripts on this site.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your content, tokens, and personal details from our systems. Posts already published to LinkedIn remain on LinkedIn under your control, like any other post you've made.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, export, or delete the data we hold about you. Email hello@growtempo.com and we'll handle it. No forms, no runaround.

Children

Growtempo is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
